Terms of payment

Students at the University of Oulu (business ID: 0245895-5) can pay study related payments and admission fees as online payments in EduStore. By paying online in EduStore you accept the terms of payment.

General

If a code is required when bying a product, contact your Faculty Study Affairs to receive the code. Enter code to buy the product, click `Submit´ and `Add to basket´ will activate.

Please note that a student is not admitted to a study place by only paying the tuition fee at the University of Oulu. Admission details and payment instructions are sent in the admission letter to the selected students.

Refunds

When refunding the payments with commission, the commission is taken from the total amount of the refund.

Refund requests are sent to: study(at)oulu.fi. Please add the following information to your refund request:

• Subject of the message: Refund.
• Student information: first name, last name, address and phone number.
• Payment information: Account number, name of the bank and the address of the bank, or information if you wish to change the product to another. Tuition fees are returned to the payer (e.g. sponsors). Otherwise, confirmation that the return can be made to another receiver is required.
• Payment ID, can be found from the payment statement and from the transaction confirmation from your email.
• Reason for refund (optional). We would like to develop our store and we wish to hear your thoughts why the refund is requested.

Refunds are handled generally within 14 days. During Finnish holiday seasons, the processing time may be longer.

Online payments

Payments with cards: Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard

Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. In payments made with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Plc is an authorized Payment Institution.

Online banks

Paytrail Plc (FI2122839) provides online bank payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works the same way as traditional web payments.
